1. Chop Bar
Chop Bar, in West African parlance, is a road style bar and restaurant and, most of all, gathering place for the community to share ideas and connect with one another – and their pets (on the outdoor bar patio). Enjoy a wide range of menu options while staff members often have dog treats readily accessible. P.S. - the Bloody Mary’s are not to be missed.
2. Drake's Dealership
With 32 beers on tap, Drake’s Dealership located on historic Broadway Auto Row was once the sales and service department of an old Dodge Dealership. 3. Grand Lake Kitchen
With two Oakland locations – one in the Dimond District and the other near Lake Merritt, Grand Lake Kitchen offers everything from brunch (served until 3 p.m.) to fried chicken, as well as a dedicated “Nosh” section on the diverse menu. After your alfresco meal, you and your tail wagging companion can work off a few calories by driving to nearby Joaquin Miller Park for a fun playdate.
4. Heinold's First & Last Chance Saloon
Heinold’s First & Last Chance Saloon first opened its doors in 1884 along the storied Oakland estuary and is considered an historical landmark – catering to sailors, locals (and their dogs) for more than a century. As the story goes, a young Jack London first visited the saloon at age 10, and returned regularly after weaving the saloon into many of his well-loved novels. And, of course we know about Jack’s dog Buck…

Situated along Lake Merritt – considered the Crown Jewel of Oakland - Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill is located in the heart of Oakland.
