Sponsorship Requests

Visit Oakland is a non-profit Destination Marketing Organization that is committed to driving tourism to Oakland. Visit Oakland welcomes event sponsorship opportunities that attract same-day visitors and overnight tourists to Oakland, drives traffic to local businesses and attractions, and uplifts our community. 

Based on our mission, our sponsorship commitments are allocated based on the following guidelines:

• Events must be open to the public and take place in Oakland, California.
• Events opportunities that promote Oakland, California in other cities may also be considered providing the event showcases Oakland and promotes travel to our destination.
• Sponsorship requests must be received a minimum of 90 days (3 months) prior to event date for partnership consideration.

Find out by filling out our sponsorship request form. All fields must be filled out and a sponsorship deck must be attached for consideration.

Please note that it may take up to 14 days for your proposal to be evaluated. At this time, our sponsorships are event focused. We are not accepting fundraiser donation requests.
