Calling All Cocktail Lovers!
Mixology Competition Presented by Coramino
Join twelve of Oakland’s top mixologists from The Town’s hottest restaurants and bars as they compete to create their version of an Oakland Style cocktail made with Coramino tequila.
Experience the best of Oakland’s cocktail scene at the Rotunda Building in the heart of Downtown Oakland and vote for your favorite. An official panel of judges will also rate cocktails based on creativity, taste, and presentation to determine the winners of a $5,000 first place prize, $3,000 second place prize, and $1,000 third place prize.
Enjoy an evening filled with sips, bites, music mixed by DJ Christie, dancing and so much fun. MC'd by Liam Mayclem - Bay Area Foodie Chap.
*Audience participation is a portion of the vote. A panel of Oakland-style cocktail judges will determine the remaining vote.

MUSIC MIXED BY DJ CHRISTIE
Christie James, a Bay Area native, began her career in the US Navy, serving in Italy and as part of the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C. under President Clinton. After transitioning from Navy journalism to radio, she returned to the Bay Area in 2003, where she gained extensive experience at various stations.
Currently, Christie hosts the top-rated "Morning Drive with Christie Live" show on 80s+ @103.7 and is actively involved in the Bay Area LGBTQ+ community, producing stages for pride events and serving as the official Treehouse DJ for the Oakland Athletics.

Liam Mayclem is one of the Bay Area’s best known food personalities. His “Foodie Chap” segment and podcast on KCBS (since 2010) celebrates all things food & wine & hospitality. He also hosted Eye on the Bay on CBS 5 TV from 2005 to 2015. Liam EMCEES the William’s Sonoma Culinary stage each year (since 2015) at Bottle Rock Napa Valley.
He broke a world record with Snoop Dogg & Chef Michael Voktaggio for “Gin & Juice”, made Cubano sandwiches with Cameron Diaz & recently hosted a Philly cheesesteak sandwich cook off with Bradley Cooper V Chef Jose Andres. The Foodie Chap has been a long time partner with Visit Oakland and regards “The Town” as one of the most exciting and richly diverse “Foodie Towns” in the country.
