Oakland, CA - Visit Oakland, the Destination Marketing Organization for the city of Oakland, is pleased to announce the launch of See Things From Our Side, vodcast that spotlights the best and brightest people and places in The Town. The fourteen episode vodcast series will be released on July 12, 2023 and will run through April 2024. See Things From Our Side will be available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, YouTube and more.

Hosted by Oakland native Taj Tashombe, See Things From Our Side highlights Oakland as the welcoming, vibrant, and interesting destination that it is. As an award winning executive, artist, designer, and philanthropist Tashombe is passionate about Oakland and eager to share the beauty and cultural relevance of the city with a wide array of viewers.
Through informative and inspiring conversations, See Things From Our Side tells the story of The Town’s diverse culture, expands horizons, opens minds, changes perceptions, and celebrates all that Oakland has to offer. Viewers will get an inside look at Oakland’s music culture, culinary landscape, art scene and local attractions including the Oakland Zoo, OMCA, Chabot Space + Science Center and Children’s Fairyland.
