While the neon sign in the window proclaims “Vegan Donut Café Gelato,” it’s just about vegan donuts here for now (no word if and when the gelato will return). Fortunately, the donuts here are so good, they’re all you need to make you happy. There’s a huge case of cake donuts, raised, old-fashioned (weekends only), apple fritters, filled (try the lemon), donut holes, and cinnamon rolls and twists.

The cake donuts are notable and destination-worthy, with a great texture that doesn’t dry out—you can’t tell the difference from regular donuts, to be honest. Frosting lovers will be happy with the heavy hand here, from maple to matcha, and there are plenty of donuts with sprinkles, and fun toppings like peanut and coconut.
