This plant-based coffee roastery and bakery was founded in 2012, and features an extensive array of baked goods and cakes made in-house daily. The Piedmont location has more of a classic and funky café vibe, with wood floors and some distressed surfaces, while the Downtown Oakland location is full of light and high ceilings in a modern building. Both locations have big display cases full of their vegan creations, like bready housemade doughnuts, croissants, empanadas, pepperoni pizza rolls, pesto cheese rolls, and cream cheese-stuffed everything breakfast bread rolls, and breakfast sandwiches and burritos.

The Timeless cake business is a THING, with dairy-free cheesecakes, sheet cakes you can customize, cupcakes, and classic cakes—you can just get a slice, too. There are also a bunch of chocolates, from peanut butter cups to raspberry truffles. The coffee and espresso drink menu is extensive and well-executed—check out their canned coffee (brewed hot and then flash chilled) for future caffeination on the go.
