Check-InCheck-OutAbout
Tiger’s Taproom draws people in to enjoy a wide selection of fresh craft beer in a laid-back environment where everyone feels like they belong. Whether you’re new to Oakland and trying to find your niche, or a longtime resident hoping to discover something new, we will make you feel welcome and engaged by creating a warm and welcoming environment with eclectic decor, original photography and outgoing staff who will welcome customers with beer suggestions and good conversation. Brian Chan and Danny Gutierrez are technology professionals who share a passion for social entrepreneurship, world travel and excellent beer. The two met while working for an innovative startup company in the Bay Area. After meeting, they quickly learned that they shared a love of beer and spent evenings and weekends combing the Bay Area looking for the best beer and the most unique taprooms in the region. Along with Brian’s dog Tiger, for whom Tiger’s Taproom is named, the two have visited dozens of bars and breweries, sampled hundreds of beers and have become connoisseurs of the local scene. On more than one occasion, they talked about the qualities that would make their taproom unique, if they ever had an opportunity to open one.Back To Top
