Detroit Style, is the perfect pan pizza. Baked in pans originally used to carry automotive parts (hence the “Detroit” connection.) Our Pizza has a crunchy bottom, fluffy middle, and crispy cheesy edge.
OUR STORY
Square Pie Guys was born from a shared passion for perfecting pizza and sharing it with their community. Two guys set out to introduce Detroit-style pizza to the Bay Area.
From the early days of pop-up experimentation, crafting pies like "Don't Go Bacon My Heart" and "How Mush-room?" became a creative pursuit. With minimal staff, the two guys navigated the intricacies of pizza-making, transitioning from a beloved pop-up to an award-winning restaurant group.
Square Pie Guys' dream found a home at 1077 Mission Street, San Francisco. Bolstered by a supportive community and well-justified hype, the journey from pop-up to a full-fledged restaurant became a reality.
Leaving behind their previous careers, the two guys embraced the challenges and excitement of their culinary venture. Square Pie Guys owes its success to its strong team within the restaurants and the overwhelming love from the whole Bay Area.
