A national historic landmark, this museum gives visitors a chance to learn about the domestic life of the prominent Pardee family, which occupied the house from 1868 to 1981. Guided tours and tea time offered.

Guided tours of the Pardee Home are our most important offering to the public. We offer a  twice-a-month tours by reservation on the 2nd & 3rd Saturdays of the month at 10:30 a.m., in addition to specialty private tours for your group. While COVID19 safety precautions are in place, there is a limit of 6 guests for tours, and proof of vaccination is required for visitors, along with following basic safety standards. Minimum donation $5 per person. Suggested donation $10 per person. Children 12 and under are always free. Admission at the door by cash or check only!

Private Teas for Groups

Private tea parties at the Pardee Home Museum are served in the elegant dining room of the Pardee Home Museum. They require a two-week advance reservation. The minimum number for a dining room tea is 6 guests—maximum is 10 guests. Teas may also be held in the garden on the beautiful grounds. The minimum number for a garden tea is 6 guests—maximum is 20 guests. Teas are by advance reservation only and include a private tour of the home museum.

The per person cost for an Afternoon Tea in the dining room is $40.00 per person, and for a Dessert Tea, $30.00. The cost for Afternoon Tea in the gardens is $45.00 per person. A tour of the home is included with all teas. Tea pricing is subject to change; donations are tax deductible. Please complete the contact form to make a reservation.

Private Events

The Pardee Home Museum offers rental facilities for your special event, including weddings and receptions, garden parties, fundraisers, community gatherings, photo shoots, and beyond.

The Pardee Home estate offers lawn space for upwards of 150 guests. The rear gardens are typically quiet and lovely, and your guests can really believe they have been transported back to a more gracious era!

A kitchen is conveniently located off the back porch and will be available for food storage and preparation during the day of the event. The museum location offers ample, free on-street parking for evening or weekend events. A fee-based parking structure is located close by for weekday gatherings.

The renovated Rear Gardens, offer a secluded and charming environment perfect for private events with capacity of 85 seated and 225 standing.

The intact Coach House interior can be used for dancing, buffet-style food service, or other special activities you wish for your event with a capacity of 40 seated and 65 standing.

The Dining room is available for small parties and personalized tea parties with a capacity of 12 seated; and 25 standing.
