Local Food Recommendations: Minto's Jamaican Restaurant & Bar. They have been Oakland natives for years. Food is spectacular, the staff are so friendly and generous. It feels like family when we dine in. Favorite thing: the whole menu! Jerk chicken will always get the job done. They also have a juice bar & patties right around the corner and operates a grocery on Broadway and 41st.
