We Are Narrative

Narrative is an Oakland-based vintage design collective. Since opening its doors in 2016, Narrative has grown to the Bay Area’s largest vintage collective located in the historic Oakland Iron Works building in Jack London Square.

Owner Vanessa Murray’s love for vintage design has been the driving force to bring together a diverse yet cohesive group of vintage dealers who source classic pieces of design from the past that you will want to live with well into the future.

Each piece at Narrative has been hand selected by one of Narrative’s experienced vintage buyers whose mission is to find the best pieces from far and wide that will continue to bring sustainable beauty to its new home as it becomes part of your story.
