Our journey began in 2015 as Cookiebar Creamery, a local spot dedicated to celebrating our favorite dessert: ice cream. Founded by two high school friends who grew up in Oakland and Alameda, we’ve always been about bringing people together through simple pleasures and exceptional flavors.

In 2020, we rebranded as Lana’s to honor the founder’s mother, who used to bring her son to this very location when he was a child. The name Lana’s is a tribute to those cherished moments and a reminder of the joy that comes from sharing great food with loved ones. The rebrand also marked an exciting new chapter as we expanded our menu to include another favorite: mouthwatering smash burgers.
