Comal Next Door is a growing group of traditional Mexican taquerias with locations in Berkeley and Oakland. Comal opened in Downtown Berkeley in 2012. A few years later, when our next door neighbor Phil’s Sliders decided to close up shop, we jumped at the chance to open an all-day taqueria – a sidekick to the original mothership.

Our second Comal Next Door! Serving Adams Point, Grand Lake and beyond since June 2020 - featuring a full bar during dinner and brunch service.

Comal Next Door Oakland - Open daily from 11-8:30pm - counter service only - self-seat on our sidewalk patio or counter side indoor seating. Pickup and delivery available until 8:30pm daily.
