How Our Journey Began...

In 2021, Annie and Ari embarked on a cold brewing adventure in their cozy Oakland apartment, initially with the idea of sharing their love for coffee with friends and family. What they didn't foresee was how this simple act of hospitality during uncertain times would evolve into a thriving venture rooted in their humble beginnings.

Annie, a seasoned barista with more than a decade of experience in the coffee industry, noticed a common oversight: the excessive use of sugar in beverages. This realization sparked the birth of Charlie May, a project dedicated to making a subtle yet meaningful change in your daily indulgence, with a focus on improving overall well-being.
