Wiggins Events was established in 2016 by Kyle Wiggins to provide a space for seasoned and aspiring entrepreneurs to sell their goods and services. As an Oakland native and current resident, Kyle recognized early on how much potential there was for the community to socially connect while shopping at outdoor venues.
After launching at the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center and later Splash Pad Park, Wiggins Events secured a residency at Jack London Square in 2017.
True to its roots and origin, open-air markets are designed to support new and existing businesses through experience and exposure. First time entrepreneurs have raved about how simple it was to test the waters and create awareness with minimal risk.
Water St. Makers takes place every Sunday from 11:00am – 4:00pm and is showcased alongside Jack London Square’s acclaimed Farmer’s Market.
