Lunar New Year is a celebration of the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar. The Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year in East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean communities - among others.

While the official dates encompassing the holiday vary by culture, universally it is the time of the year to reunite with immediate and extended family and observe age-old traditions.
