The Fox Oakland Theater, on Telegraph Avenue between 18th and 19th Streets, operated as a first-run movie house from 1928 until 1962. Today it hosts concerts by various recognizable artists.
In 2009, after being closed for 40 years, the Fox Theater reopened as a live music venue, art school, and restaurant. The $75 million restoration and bustling Uptown Oakland location made it an instant favorite among touring artists and fans.
The Telegraph Room
With the purchase of a regular ticket to the show, you can opt in to upgrade your experience to include VIP access to the exclusive Telegraph Room before, during and after the show! More highlights include:
- Separate premier entrance to the Fox
- Access to preferred viewing section on the orchestra level with cocktail service for General Admission shows
- Private Bar serving exclusive beers, liquors and specialty drink
- Complimentary hors d'oeuvres
- Private bathrooms

The Den at the Fox Theater
Enjoy food and drinks before every the show at The Den. The Den is a sophisticated bar located inside the venue and open to the public typically an hour prior to doors time. Our gourmet menu and specialty cocktails await!
Please note that The Den is open to ticket holders only on show nights, and there are no ins and outs.
