Open Mind Music was established in 1994 in San Francisco by Henry Wimmer. For 14 years it was a vibrant place to convene for music-lovers from all over the world. In 2017 Henry and partner Monica Smith re-opened on College Ave. in Oakland.

Open Mind Music specializes in quality used and new records refurbished stereo equipment and features rotating exhibits of local visual artists.
