Bad Walter’s Bootleg Ice Cream began as an illegal living room ice cream operation in Oakland in the winter of 2020 during the pandemic (hence the “bootleg”).

Quickly quickly our ice cream gained traction from fans and press alike, Bad Walter’s is known for our one-of-a-kind, maximalist flavors that rotate on a weekly basis.
