Check-InCheck-OutAbout
This charming Ethiopian restaurant has been around for 17 years, also functioning as a market for the community missing organic spices and ingredients and kitchen utensils from home (you’ll notice lots of regulars swinging by while you wait for your meal). Everything is made from scratch, and you can smell the appetizing spices and scents wafting outside before you arrive.
The menu features a daily veggie combo with flavorful and classic dishes like red lentils, split peas, collard greens, salad, a stuffed jalapeño, and a couple spreads (chickpea and lentil), all spooned onto freshly made and spongy injera bread (it’s gluten free) that you use to scoop up bites of your food.
You can get a full order for $15.99, or half-order for $10.99, and the mother who cooks here said, “Let me know if you want more of anything.” Awwww. Everything was perfectly seasoned and prepared, it’s so homey and satisfying.
Plan on waiting a little bit for your food (and injera bread) to be prepared fresh. Perk up with some Ethiopian coffee and baklava for dessert at your outside table in the sun.Back To Top
