The mission of the gallery is to provide exhibition opportunities for artists in a setting that is an alternative to the traditional gallery model. They hope to inspire, engage and celebrate artists in the community and beyond. The gallery acknowledges the achievements of emerging, mid-career and established artists – with an emphasis on those who live and work in the Bay Area, in a non-traditional art space.

Gray Loft Gallery believes that Art is a vehicle for communication, community building and inspiration. They want to encourage the appreciation and interest in the arts by presenting work in a non-exclusive, welcoming, professional and fun environment. The gallery hopes to cultivate the belief that art is for everyone, and that art belongs in our community at large, not just in traditional gallery and museum environments.
