Q. If this were your last day on Earth, where in Oakland would you dine?
A. Brunch at Pican, lunch at Cosecha, dinner at Commis, drinks at Lake Chalet and dessert with a breathtaking view of the Bay Area at Meritage.
Q. Where is the first place you take your friends and family from out of town in Oakland?
A. This is one of the hardest questions to answer because there’s an overwhelming amount of great things to do and places to see in Oakland. But my go to would be showing off our great restaurants and bars like Mua or District.
Q. What’s your favorite secret spot in Oakland?
A. My favorite secret spot in Oakland is the Kaiser Rooftop Garden. It’s truly a hidden gem and the most beautiful and serene spot in downtown Oakland.
Q. Where would someone most likely find you on the weekend?
A. My weekends consist of walks around Lake Merritt, stuffing my face with pav’s at Juhu Beach Club, dancing at Cana, grabbing a drink with friends at Somar and no weekend would be complete without at trip to the Temescal farmer’s market.
Q. Describe your Oakland in 3 words?
A. eclectic, progressive and roaracle.
Q. Where is one of your favorite travel destinations in the world?
A. I love being by the water and in the warm sun, so Costa Rica and the Bahamas are two of my favorites.
Q. What is your go-to happy hour drink?
A. Top-shelf margarita. I am a definitely a tequila fan.
Q. What do you love about your job?
A. I love that I have the privilege of bragging about and promoting Oakland to anyone that will listen. Who wouldn’t love a job like that?!
Q. Describe who you are in 140 characters or less.
A. A sports obsessed movie quoter. Food crazed travel addict. A huge smile with an even bigger laugh. Oakland resident with an unhealthy amount of Bay Area pride.
Q. Best place to shop in Oakland?
A. College Ave. and Lakeshore boutiques and shops are the best. One of my absolute favorites is, Collage Clothing Lounge on Lakeshore Ave.
