First Friday will be taking over the streets of KONO on May 3rd
On Telegraph Ave. from W. Grand to 27th St. 5:00-9:00pm
Oakland First Friday Street Festival, a community program of the KONO (Koreatown Northgate) Community Benefit District, is an inclusive art- and community-centered experience. May's theme is "International Art and Culture". Come out from 5 PM to 9 PM to experience street artists, food artisans, craft makers, performers, musicians, dancers, live painters, DJ's, poets, literary events and more! The evening includes a special tribute performance by Sol Development honoring the life of Victor McElhaney. The monthly event attracts up to 30,000 people from all across the Bay Area and beyond to experience the amazing, eclectic talent of Oakland.
