Swing by this small but mighty organic juice and smoothie bar and give your health and body a boost! Super Juiced started in 2012 from two community-minded, queer mothers of color, back when there weren’t any 100-percent organic, fresh-pressed juice bars in Oakland. You’ll find the juice bar in the courtyard of the historic Swan's Market, right in the heart of Old Oakland.

The menu is seasonal, so expect farm-fresh ingredients to rotate on and off. The juices include the Ginger Glow (green chard, romaine, cucumber, green apple, ginger) and their orange juice features a dash of orange blossom water. There’s an allergy shot, digestive shot, and immunity shot, depending upon what tonic you may need. It’s hard to choose from the appealing list of smoothies, like Strawberry Moon with housemade almond milk, strawberries, banana, cashew butter, and pink Himalayan salt, or the Emerald Moon (housemade coconut milk, mango or pineapple depending on the season, kale, spinach, Medjool dates, and cinnamon). If you need some caffeine, there’s a matcha latte made with oat milk.

Need something heartier? There are some beautifully assembled organic bowls. They obviously care about each and every ingredient—even the organic bananas are fair trade and not owned by Dole, Chiquita, or Del Monte. You’ll see some locally made products for sale as well.
