Check-InCheck-OutAbout
Known for their Filipino-street-food-meets-Mexican-taqueria-mash-up dishes served on their food trucks and at brick-and-mortar locations on both sides of the Bay, the Señor Sisig team launched an all-vegan “vegano” version of their popular menu, slinging sisig tacos, burritos, nachos (with vegan sour cream!), fries, and even their famed (and stoner-approved) crunch-a-dilla (with vegan shredded cheese, don’t miss it).
They use a marinated and char-grilled soy protein to make their pork sisig, chicken sisig, longanisa chorizo, and tocino, which come packed with flavor. The California sisig burrito has French fries in it, or you can get a rice bowl if you want to skip the tortilla. (Meat-eating friends will find the entire menu here as well, FYI.)
This Oakland location features big roll-up doors that open onto the street; plenty of bar, counter, and high-top seating; TVs playing all kinds of sports events; a mural that pays homage to Oakland; and the addition of a full bar. You’ll find four kinds of margaritas (including pandan and pineapple), highballs, and the boozy, frozen and blended ube colada is a coconutty party in a glass. They also have local beers on draft.
