Parche is passionately introducing Colombian cuisine to the Bay Area. The restaurant pays homage to the culture, traditions, biodiversity, native ingredients, and terroir of Colombia while cooking holistically.
Owner/Operator, Paul Iglesias (previously of Canela Bistro and Wine Bar in San Francisco) pulls from his Colombian roots and continuous travels to inspire the concept’s overarching direction. Joined by part Owner/Operator, Kendrick Wu, Parche is further constructed around the pillars of service and hospitality.
Parche is a gathering place for people who are searching for a sense of belonging. At the restaurant, everyone’s treated like family from the second they step through the door. Primarily presented in small plate format, the Parche experience revolves around sharing. Guests are encouraged to try a collection of dishes regardless of familiarity. When not fully immersed in the food or Parche’s exceptional beverage program, the purposeful interior design acts as an extension of the restaurant’s story. Through highlighting the work of local and Colombian artisans, the walls speak to history, tradition, and ingenuity.
