Located in the heart of Oakland’s Uptown District, Palmetto opened its doors in May of 2020. Since its opening, Palmetto has established itself as an Oakland staple with vibrant flavors and creative takes on typical American food.

Executive Chef Manuel Bonilla blends traditional American dishes with his own Latin American and Filipino background to create a menu that is original and exciting. In conjunction with the classic cocktail menu from Jeanie Grant and extensive wine list from Co-Owner Christ Aivaliotis, Palmetto is the place to be for an elevated night out.

The 2,700 square foot space, renovated by Wylie Price Design, captures the New American aesthetic in a modern, colorful way with pops of pink, neon, and gorgeous plants throughout the space. Christ Aialiotis and fellow co-owner Matt Reagan established their approach to hospitality and creativity with their first restaurant, The Kon-Tiki.
