Oakland Don’t Play (ODP) is a conscious clothing brand birthed September 11, 2020, by Oakland native Shauncy “Salt” Jackson in a response to a rise of racial discrimination and gentrification in Oakland, such as the BBQ Becky incident at Lake Merritt.

Salt wanted to create something to constantly remind people that Oakland Don’t Play about their people, or land, or equality.
