Check-InCheck-OutAbout
Every week, the menu at this deliciously creative Chinese-Singaporean joint has dishes that will tempt you, from jackfruit rendang and nasi lemak to laksa to a variation of their famed shaobing sandwich, which is a must-order: house-baked sesame bread (it’s like a crisp and airy focaccia) contains brilliant ingredient combinations, like Sichuan peppercorn roasted sweet potato and preserved mustard greens, Hodo Soy yuba, peanut koji cream, pickled chili mayo, and cilantro. Seriously, shazam.
Their tofu nuggets are Thursdays only, and there are always some Saturday specials. Don’t miss the A.S.S. (almond-sesame-shallot) cookies, so sassy.
They now have a parklet, or you can bring your food into nearby Drexl (check out the back patio) for a cocktail to go along with your meal.
