About
The Mountains Sing is acclaimed Vietnamese poet Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai’s first novel in English. Celebrating the paperback release of this novel, Quế Mai will discuss her book in conversation with Thi Bui, 2018 Caldecott Honor winner and Eisner Award finalist for her illustrated memoir, The Best We Could Do.
This event is presented in partnership by the Oakland Asian Cultural Center, Algonquin Books, and the Transnational Literature Series by Brookline Booksmith.
