Enjoy summer evening astronomy programs with engaging speakers, thematic programs, and activities for all ages! After sunset head to our observation deck to explore the cosmos through Chabot historic telescopes.
Guest Speaker: Shane Krpata, NASA Solar System Ambassador.
During this event, we’ll learn all about asteroids, meteors and comets! Enjoy comet demonstrations, hands-on activities that unlock the mysteries about these space objects. Compare earth’s rocks, minerals, tectonic plates, and atmospheres to that of other planets and moons in our solar system and beyond. The night will include hands-on activities, lectures, and talks. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available.
Please enter via the main doors. Advance purchase only. After the party stop by the observation deck for telescope viewing with our astronomers. (Weather permitting).
