The musical theater of Broadway has historically been one of the important birthplaces of popular songs in America, and by the late 1920s, American songwriters started working in Hollywood. The piano duo of Stephanie Trick and Paolo Alderighi will take a journey through half a century of these classic musicals, which have always had a close relationship to jazz. They present their inventive arrangements on two pianos, which combine the lively syncopated and swinging rhythms of early jazz piano styles with more modern musical approaches.
