Scott Silven: The Lost Things

Scott Silven: The Lost Things

About

Be part of a mind-blowing immersive journey exploring memories, people or places we've lost in our lives – and what happens when they make their way back to us as we officially welcome the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts back to Oakland. Internationally acclaimed illusionist Scott Silven and Oakland native storyteller, comedian and NPR contributor Don Reed take the stage for a night of stories, and unimaginable illusions mind reading.

The performance will begin with Mayor Barbara Lee officially welcoming the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts back to Oakland before Storyteller and comedian Don Reed takes the stage to connect us to this moment with a fun and engaging opening story before entering Scott Silven’s The Lost Things begins.

Prepare to be amazed, inspired, and swept up in astonishment as you journey with Scott into a world where reality bends, and the unseen becomes tangible. Through breathtaking illusions and cinematic storytelling, world-renowned illusionist, mentalist, and performance artist Scott Silven invites you into The Lost Things—a boundary-pushing theatrical exploring the power of getting lost, and what how things sometimes come back to us. This is a performance you will not soon forget.

The evening concludes with beautiful Oakland-inspired desserts and music by Kev Choice and friends.
