Bones, Books & Birdies - A Benefit for Oakland-focused Mentorship Programs

Join us for a Family-friendly Summer BBQ and Community Fundraiser, powered in partnership with The Pinkney Foundation, as we celebrate Loren Taylor’s birthday with delicious food, great company, and an even greater purpose!
This special day will feature:
- Golf Experience for beginners and enthusiasts alike with 3-Hole Challenge
- Dominoes & Spades Tournament to spark some fun competition
- DJ spinning our favorite summer tunes
- Fellowship in purpose, delicious summer eats, and games for the whole family
While we gather to celebrate Loren, we’re also raising critical funds to support Oakland-based mentorship and tutoring programs that make a real difference in the lives of our youth—programs like Our Kids (OK), Reading Partners, and the Sigma Beta Club.
With recent federal funding cuts under the Trump Administration, our community must step up to fill the gap. These programs empower our children with academic support, mentorship, and life skills—resources that are more vital now than ever.
