Laufey Lín Bīng Jónsdóttir, who performs under the mononym Laufey (pronounced "lay-vay"), is an Icelandic-Chinese singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Her jazz and classical-inspired pop music gained popularity in the early 2020s, with her viral hit "Street by Street" finding success on social media. Laufey first gained recognition through her participation in Icelandic versions of The Voice and Ísland Got Talent.
