FURY, a non-traditional multimedia show, is bringing the desert fortress of the “Citadel” to Oakland for the first time. Situating ballet into a new live concept, Creative Director and Producer Kate Duhamel produced the boundary-crossing show, where musicians, dancers, and visual elements converge to give audiences an intimate and captivating experience. Inspired by the iconic movie, MAD MAX - FURY ROAD, guests will experience a layered, post-apocalyptic survival-meets-love story.

Following two sold out runs in San Francisco, FURY’s unprecedented immersive music + ballet experience will debut at Vau de Vire’s 12,000 sq. ft. Tortona Big Top, a circus tent in the heart of Downtown Oakland, on September 13th and 14th -- in its fullest 360° glory

Like the city that is known for being the most ethnically vibrant and eclectic in the nation, this show reflects the values inherent to the DNA of Oakland.

FURY will feature live music by composer Kristina Dutton and the indie-pop band Yassou, immersive video projections, and choreography by the award-winning Danielle Rowe (performed by principal dancers from San Francisco Ballet and Alonzo King Lines Ballet).
