Dia De Los Muertos 25th Annual Festival

Dia De Los Muertos 25th Annual Festival

About

The Unity Council Día de Los Muertos Annual Festival is a free, outdoor festival that brings over 100,000 people to the vibrant, culturally-rich Fruitvale neighborhood.

In an effort to prevent the further spread of Covid-19, The Unity Council plans to cancel all in-person activities around the Dia de los Muertos Festival. This decision is in accordance with the California Department of Public Health and the Alameda County Public Health Department’s recommendations.

But not to worry: our event team will continue to bring you tons of amazing online activities to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the largest Latinx event in the East Bay. This year, we are introducing Muertos Mercadito (Marketplace), a virtual fair commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the largest Latinx event in the East Bay.

Our goal is to continue to bring the same authentic Festival experience to your home! We are featuring a new website that will showcase the history of Dia de los Muertos and the festival, DIY videos featuring local artists and our favorite face painters, our MUERTOS MARKETPLACE where you can continue to support our local vendors, and much much more!

¡Celebremos juntos! Be a part of the 25th De de los Muertos Festival Virtual Celebration. Stay tuned!
