Join us at The Caffè by Mr. Espresso for a Cookbook Release Party celebrating Oakland's own Chef Tu David Phu’s brand new cookbook, "The Memory of Taste: Vietnamese American Recipes from Phú Quoc, Oakland, and the Spaces Between" (released Sept. 10, 2024).
For $50, you’ll receive a signed copy of the cookbook, a choice of one of two specialty coffee drinks created by Chef Tu, a bag of Mr. Espresso's signature Neapolitan Espresso and the opportunity to meet "Top Chef" alum Tu David Phu and co-author Soleil Ho!
Don’t miss out on two special Chef Collab drinks at the party:
* Cà Phê Sua Matcha -- a limited-time iced specialty drink that Chef Tu created for The Caffè using a classic Vietnamese coffee as a base with a matcha cream twist
* Coconut Shakerato -- inspired by Chef Tu's upbringing, this is a one-day-only espresso drink made with condensed milk, coconut cream and a touch of cocoa powder
There is no admission fee to attend the event and the caffè will be open as usual.
