October is Black Panther Party History Month

This year will mark the 50tyh year since the BPP started the Free Breakfast for School Children. It was started in oakland at St. Augustine Church in January 1969. Combining education with nutrition, the Breakfast Programs provided a nutritional breakfast to any school youth. The BPP feed thousands of children all over the US. It all started in oakland, birthplace of the Black Panther Party.
