FAM BAM! Oakland's 14th Annual Juneteenth Festival is a celebration of Black/ African culture that has become a family friendly tradition of thousands of Bay Area residents. The festival is a safe space, serving as a day of reflection and education; promoting wellness, unity and pride. Oakland's Juneteenth Festival is a platform to preserve the community’s rich cultural heritage and contributions to the larger society, fostering a strong sense of belonging. The festival's great variety of music, food and merchandise vendors, wellness workshops, art installations, youth activities, and Father's Day tribute have been a guaranteed good time for the whole family.

Do's and Don'ts:
No outside Alcohol. Don't worry, we'll have a full bar with everything you need! You can also get bottle service with a reserved cabana
Outside food and coolers are ok. Chairs, umbrellas, tents, and canopies, are welcomed behind the first row of cabanas in the designated areas to maximize view for all. Low chairs and blankets are welcomed in front of the first row of cabanas. No in and outs, no pets, no grills, no amplified sound/speakers, no banners, custom tents with promo, org flags etc., no vending or selling of any goods, no solicitation of guests, no handing out flyers or media, no fireworks, no cigarette smoke in crowded areas (step off to the edge of the events), No refunds. Cashless admission, bar, and AfroOak Merch, but most other vendors will still accept cash.
