Meanwhile, the historic charm of the Claremont Club & Spa, situated on 22 acres with breathtaking views of San Francisco, will provide you and your pooch a memorable chic retreat. Up to two pets are welcome for a nightly fee of $49 per night, which includes a dog bed and bowl.
 


The recently restored and reimagined Kissel – Uptown Oakland is located in the core of the city’s most vibrant district, Uptown - the center of an eclectic arts and entertainment scene for you and your pooch to explore on foot. The hotel simply asks for each guest to sign a pet damage form. Nestled in Oakland’s Arts & Entertainment District, the Moxy Oakland Downtown provides an urban retreat for you and your pooch to discover and explore. Pets are charged a non-refundable $50 deposit per night, with a two-pet maximum. Also located in downtown Oakland, the Oakland Marriott City Center is another option for your and your furry friend. All dogs are welcome with $75, one-time fee, for a guest's stay.
 


Looking for a home away from home? The Extended Stay America Oakland/Emeryville is complete with guest laundry and a full kitchen for extended stays. Up to two pets (36 inches in height or less) are welcome for an additional $25 per night per pet for the first six nights. The Hampton Inn Oakland Downtown-City Center, conveniently located in the city center for abundant urban walkabouts – is also just 10 minutes from the dog-friendly Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park. Dogs that weigh 75 pounds or less are welcome with a $75 non-refundable fee.

Near the Oakland Airport, the Hilton Oakland Airport offers four-legged guests and their companions a green space the size of a football field – providing ample room for a game of “Go Fetch.” The $75 pet fee is applicable for up to two dogs, while La Quinta Inn & Suites Wyndham also conveniently located near the Oakland Airport, provides a small grass area for supervised play. Pets are charged a $25 per pet fee, per stay.

Looking for dog-friendly hotels near the waterfront? The Waterfront Hotel’s Jack London location is ideal for pets and their companions. Many of the neighborhood restaurants allow dogs on their outdoor patios, with plenty of options for fun walks. A $25 non-refundable pet deposit is required for up to three nights.
 


Another option is the Homewood Suites Oakland Waterfront, which features a walking trail overlooking the Oakland marina with nearby Jack London Square and the Coast Guard base for additional fun exploring options. Dogs are charged a non-refundable $75 fee per stay. And lastly, the Motel 6 Oakland Embarcadero allows two pets of any size for no additional fee and it is perfect for long walks. The hotel also features a grassy area completed with a waste station and waste bags.
