Everyone loves Lake Merritt, but Old Oakland all the way up to Uptown is where Dominic likes to spend his time. He finds so many interesting things to see, like historic architecture, and familiar faces along the way.
Teni East Kitchen
Dominic’s favorite food spot in Oakland is Teni East Kitchen. From the decor, to the music, to the service, this place has it all! The food has been the most consistent out of any spot he’s tried. They inspire him (aww!).

Bay Cruises
Dominic used to make tacos on boat parties that would cruise around the bay, under the Bay Bridge and back to Jack London Square. We agree that this is an amazing way to spend time in Oakland and on the Bay. You get gorgeous views of the Bay and Oakland when you’re out on the water. It’s a must!
Oakland A’s
He (and we) can’t make a list without mentioning going to the Oakland Coliseum and watching the A’s continue to make magic! #RootedinOakland
