Q. Where is the first place you take your friends and family from out of town in Oakland?
Jack London Square is our first stop. Bicycle Coffee and then the Sunday farmer's market.
Q. What’s your favorite secret spot in Oakland?
The Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. It is surrounded by the Port and has amazing views of the bridge and bay. Great place to stroll and get your thoughts in order.
Q. Where would someone most likely find you on the weekend?
Weekends typically are kid's days. Baseball, Gymnastics or shuttling one kid or another.
Q. Describe your Oakland in 3 words?
Diverse, unexpected, stimulating
Q. Where is one of your favorite travel destinations in the world?
South coast of Maui (Kihei, Wailea)
Q. What is your go-to happy hour drink?
Dry British gin - Boodles or Hendricks
Q. What do you love about your job?
There is so much to see and learn about Oakland. I love the opportunity to share Oakland with the world.
Q. Describe who you are in 140 characters or less.
A life long hotelier that has the heart of an innkeeper. I have changed courses and hope that I can expand my "inn" to be all of Oakland. I love to have fun and experience new things.
Q. Best place to shop in Oakland?
The little shops along College have some amazing things that you can't find anywhere. I love to wander and let my imagination roam.
