Fattoush Salad from Dyafa.
Q. Where is the first place you take your friends and family from out of town in Oakland?
I would take them to Chinatown where they can see the murals that were created by Dragon School 99.
Q. What’s your favorite secret spot in Oakland?
My favorite secret spot in Oakland is Lake Merritt, especially the Lake Merritt Boating Center. I spent most of my childhood kayaking around the lake with my family.
Q. Where would someone most likely find you on the weekend?
On the weekend, you would most likely find me at a park reading a book or exploring The Town with my friends on a food tour.

Q. What do you love about your job?
I love meeting people who are visiting Oakland for the first time and helping them create their itinerary. There are so many amazing places to visit that allow people to learn about The Town's culture, and I'm happy to have the opportunity to share it.
