Q. If this was your last day on Earth, where in Oakland would you dine?
There are so many good restaurants! But I would say Lake Chalet for a pasta dish or fish tacos. You get a picturesque view of Lake Merritt along with your meal, which always wins me over.
Q. Where is the first place you take your friends and family from out of town in Oakland?
I love taking them down to Jack London Square where they can see the water, check out the many restaurants or go wine tasting all within a few steps away!
Q. What’s your favorite secret spot in Oakland?
My favorite spot in Oakland is Autobahn Café on 5th Street. I love their iced coffee and it makes my day when I’m able to sit in their one window seat!
Q. Where would someone most likely find you on the weekend?
Hiking in one of Oakland’s many parks or trying out a new restaurant for brunch. Sometimes both!
Q. Describe your Oakland in 3 words?
Artistic, Creative & Proud
Q. Where is one of your favorite travel destinations in the world?
Fiji is on my travel list.
Q. What is your go-to happy hour drink?
A refreshing gimlet reminds me of summer all year long.
Q. What do you love about your job?
The best part of my job is that I get to work with lots of people everyday! I’m always meeting someone new and I love that many of our Visit Oakland partners are old friends!
Q. Describe who you are in 140 characters or less.
Photographer, foodie, and tea drinker. Likes nice things.
Q. Best place to shop in Oakland?
Temescal Alley has many cute shops for one-of-a-kind jewelry and household items.
