Q. Where is the first place you take your friends and family from out of town in Oakland?
The day doesn’t start until we’ve had our coffee, so the first stop is Bicycle Coffee and then a walk to Jack London Square.
Q. What’s your favorite secret spot in Oakland?
Not-So-Secret but Bakesale Betty is amazing!
Q. Where would someone most likely find you on the weekend?
Near Lake Merritt, enjoying the sun, and laughing with friends.
Q. Describe your Oakland in 3 words?
Vibrant, Colorful, Alive
Q. Where is one of your favorite travel destinations in the world?
Fire Island Pines. It’s off the coast of Long Island, and has been an LGBTQ haven since the 1930s. I go with my friends every year.
Q. What is your go-to happy hour drink?
Tequila and Soda….or if I’m feeling fancy, a Campari and Soda
Q. What do you love about your job?
I love welcoming people into a city where you TRULY feel like a local. I love to talk, so being social and helping people achieve maximum meeting success is what I absolutely love about my job.
Q. Describe who you are in 140 characters or less.
A wacky, irreverent pop culture junkie who doesn’t take life too seriously…and a teen princess.
