A. Aburaya Japanese Fried Chicken, with the spicy strawberry habanero sauce!
Q. Where is the first place you take your friends and family from out of town in Oakland?
A. Grand Lake for some cool shopping, eateries, a movie at Grand Lake Theatre, and then a short walk to the beautiful Lake Merritt.
Q. What’s your favorite secret spot in Oakland?
A. World Famous Hot Boys, ‘world famous’ might be in their name, but only locals will know about this hidden mouth-watering fried chicken sandwich spot.
Q. Where would someone most likely find you on the weekend?
A. Baking in the sun at the nearest park, or taking a hike in the Redwoods.

A. Fun, creative, and original.

A. Barcelona, can’t get enough of the beaches, drinks, and tapas.

A. Getting the opportunity to explore Oakland and be creative at the same time.

A. Uptown/Downtown area, I’ve found some of the coolest bookstores, clothing shops, and art galleries I’ve ever been to there.
